Kalpla Web
The web counterpart to the Kalpla learning app — course marketplace, live classes, and a full student dashboard.
Overview
Kalpla Web is the browser counterpart to the Kalpla mobile app, built around the same course catalogue and brand. A Discover feed surfaces on-demand and live courses; a Courses page adds filtering by category, level, price, and rating; and a persistent sidebar covers the rest of a student's account — Live Classes, My Learnings, Wallet, Attendance, Orders, Results, and Notes — so the browsing and account-management experience holds up on desktop, not just mobile.
The challenge
A course marketplace already shipping as a mobile app needs its web version to carry the same catalogue and account state without becoming a second, drifting source of truth — while taking advantage of a larger screen for filtering, comparison, and account management that a phone screen doesn't have room for.
What I built
- Discover feed with featured and on-demand course cards
- Course listing with filters: category, level, price range, rating, duration, free-only, certificate
- Persistent sidebar covering Live Classes, My Learnings, Wallet, Attendance, Orders, Results, and Notes
- Cart and checkout flow shared with the same course catalogue as the mobile app

Architecture
Engineering highlights
Desktop-appropriate filtering
Category, level, price, rating, and duration filters sit inline on the courses page rather than behind a mobile-style filter sheet, using the extra screen space a browser gives you.
Full account surface
Wallet, Attendance, Orders, Results, and Notes all get dedicated sidebar destinations instead of being folded into a single 'profile' tab, matching how a desktop dashboard is normally used.
